Mandip has always been passionate about management and business consulting; an interest sparked from an early age through several family-run businesses. Throughout a 20-year career working for high profile firms such as PA Consulting and BP, his desire to help businesses realise their organisational and operational objectives hasn’t diminished. Regardless of scale, he truly believes client buy-in and collaboration is fundamental to properly managing and embedding any transformational change. With an emphasis on service rather than sector, Mandip’s strength lies in deploying the right tools and techniques from all those he’s mastered over the years to guide and support an organisation through the challenging change process.
One size certainly doesn’t fit all, every organisation requires a bespoke approach to deliver their unique objectives, and he’s used this flexible methodology very successfully during public and private sector assignments across many industries, such as oil and gas, legal, shipping, aviation, finance, pharma, hospitality and Central Government. Working directly with the client, he uses his core skillset and proven track record to understand and define the required outcomes through direct engagement of stakeholders and robust management of business change, providing governance and assurance to both delivery teams and client sponsors.
Outside of work, Mandip pursues his two passions in life; general fitness and cookery. He is a 2nd Dan black belt in Shotokan karate, hoping his body allows him to continue his journey towards 3rd Dan. His considerable dexterity and skill extends to the kitchen where he enjoys nothing more than to cook the recipes handed down to him by his parents, and create new ones under the Instagram tag @ShotokanChef. He is married with one son who is also a 2nd Dan and “considerably better than his father“!
